What is CPR Systems?
CPR Systems (Complete Metal Pretreatment) designs and builds closed-loop metal pretreatment equipment in South Bend, Indiana. Its spray wand pretreatment systems, single-step stage washers and wash booths clean and conversion-coat steel and aluminum before powder coating, then filter and reclaim the iron phosphate or zirconium chemistry so it is reused instead of discharged or hauled.
Who uses it?
Powder coating job shops, metal fabricators bringing finishing in-house, trailer manufacturers and OEM in-house paint lines, including suppliers that must meet Caterpillar and Applied Materials finishing requirements. CPR can run CAT 1E4093 or approved chemistry or similar with a phosphate wash, rinse and seal sequence.
How do we work?
We start with the spec or test protocol your customer requires and size the system backward from it. We'll clean sample panels for free so you can run your own adhesion and corrosion tests before you buy.
